Request for Qualifications (RFQ) For Ada County (ID) Bicycle Master Plan
Ada County Highway District
Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is requesting qualifications for the purpose of selecting a firm to prepare a Master Plan for bicycle facilities in the public right-of-way in Ada County, including the cities of Boise, Eagle, Garden City, Kuna, Meridian, Star and the unincorporated areas of the county. The selected firm's plan will evaluate existing facilities and identify new facility needs providing a comprehensive strategy to enhance and expand the current bicycle system with the goal of creating connectivity and increasing the safety of users. The firm will develop a list of future bicycle planning and implementation goals that can be integrated and incorporated in ACHD's Five Year Work Program and Capital Improvement Program scheduling plans.
Work under this project shall commence on or about February 1, 2007. It is anticipated that the project shall be completed on or about September 1, 2007.
Responses must be submitted via mail or in person on or before 2:00 pm., Mountain Time, on Friday, December 8, 2006 (electronic submissions will not be accepted).
