Technically oriented, this interactive workshop brings together national experts in the development, financing, environmental management and design of former rail yard properties.

Our curriculum is designed for developers, investors, planners, and municipal leaders from Arizona, California and Nevada. Among the many rail yard redevelopments to be highlighted, Downtown Las Vegas' Union Park – one of the largest urban infill projects in the country on a former rail yard – will serve as our local case study.

Workshop speakers include developers, funders, attorneys, and environmental consultants representing current rail yard projects in the west, including: Union Park in Las Vegas, Downtown Sacramento Rail Yard, Truckee Rail Yard, Yuma Riverfront Project, the Marina Center Project in Eureka, Central Station in Oakland, and numerous park and greenway projects.

Tuition: $195
