Still Time To Register For Environmental Planning, Historic Preservation Law Or Long Range Planning
Rutgers University, Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy
Bloustein Online Continuing Education for Planners has three courses running from May 31 to July 8. If you register by June 9, you can enroll in any course for $150 (a $100 discount). Busy? No problem. There are no scheduled meetings in these courses, and they are all held entirely online. BOCEP courses are highly interactive. You will meet and share ideas with professionals from around the United States. About 90% of students surveyed said they would recommend the BOCEP program to their colleagues in planning.
Environmental Planning, Historic Preservation Law and Long-Range Planning are running now through July 8. Managing Water Resources and Economic Development for Community Revitalization are running from June 14 to July 23.
It's fine to specialize, but the clients and communities we serve expect us to be smart in all areas of planning. If you feel you should know more such issues as sustainability and open space, consider taking Environmental Planning.
It takes more than design plans to protect historic resources. Historic Preservation Law will help you build the knowledge and skills to develop regulations that will implement and sustain preservation plans.
Visioning is a fun and creative part of planning. But if the visions can't be implemented, what's the point? Long Range Planning will help you analyze visions to determine what can really be implemented and what amounts to utopian thinking.
