Downtown Retail, Entertainment and Residential Complex

The Lexington Downtown Development Authority in Lexington Kentucky is soliciting qualifications for the Lexington High Street Plaza (Transit Center) Air Rights Development in Downtown Lexington. The desired project may include a variety of commercial, cultural uses such as movie theaters, restaurants, nightclubs, retail and a residential component of condominiums, rental or a mixture of both.

Lexington Kentucky, home to the University of Kentucky, continues to have steady growth within the region and downtown. There are currently over 20 residential and mixed use projects with a value of over $250 million underway in the downtown area. The air rights are publicly owned and located in the heart of downtown, one block from the University of Kentucky campus, and three blocks from the Lexington Center, which contains the Lexington Convention Center, the Shops at Lexington Center and Rupp Arena.
