Seven Days to a New Nelscott -- 'At The Beach'
Lincoln City Urban Renewal Agency
This effort is all about passion, your passion for great urban design and planning. It is an excellent opportunity for you to participate in an urban design effort different than the normal project, work with new people, new ideas and oh yeah, its AT THE BEACH.
We are looking for a group of individuals who are creative, collaborative and product oriented. An Urban Planning Dream Team. This is an opportunity to serve on a nationally recognized team to prepare a community plan in one week.
How does a paid vacation at the Beach sound? But instead of wondering what to do all day, you spend the time doing what you do best, making a difference by creating great places and working with some of the greatest talent from across the nation.
We are conducting the third of our String of Pearls vision plans for the historic districts of Lincoln City. We are inviting professionals from all over the country to form a team, carry out a week long charrette, and develop the vision for the revitalization of the Nelscott Community.
Recharge their batteries.
Bring your spouse and/or kids. We will have some activities for them to enjoy as well. They may even find one of the 2000 glass floats that are hidden along our beaches each year. Heck, they can even blow their own float at the Glass Foundry.
I hope you will consider being a part of this event. Call me, Kurt Olsen, Executive Director, Lincoln City Urban Renewal Agency (541)996-1003.
See you AT THE BEACH !
