This is a fully-benefited position funded by a grant through September 2008.
DEFINITION:
Working with the City of Salinas Redevelopment Agency and local community leaders, the project will mobilize CSUMB faculty and student resources to facilitate a community planning process for the revitalization of Soledad Street and Old Chinatown, and provide job training and develop income-generating projects for the homeless and poor in the neighborhood. The Program Manager will provide is responsible for the overall program administrationoverall administrative support for the project, directing the community-based planning effort, and overseeing the development of the job training and income-generating initiatives. The Program CoordinatorManager will report to the Service Learning Institute Director.
