The CPC Summit is set in the context of a live demonstration of decision support tools to improve public participation in land use planning.
This exciting event is a first-of-a-kind venue for the sharing and exchange of knowledge about tools for community design and decision making.
Attend this event and you will:
* Witness the application of a wide range of tools for land use planning, urban design, economic development, infrastructure analysis, and environmental analysis to assist in the planning process of a 7-county wide region and 90,000 acres in Orange County just southeast of the Orlando.
* Share knowledge with experts around the country about tools and techniques for better community planning, exploring topics such as: "Building Decision Support Capacity in Your Own Community," "Civic Engagement Tools and Processes," and "How to Measure Success."
* Participate in trainings on the use of tools you will see applied.
* Gain hands-on experience using a host of decision support tools including visualization, scenario building and public participation tools.
Submit a Proposals to host a Session, Panel or Workshop by June 17th, 2005.
