The City of High Point seeks consulting services demonstrating experience and visionary abilities in comprehensive, neighborhood and downtown planning, market analysis, redevelopment and revitalization, economic and community development and public involvement process. The Core City Plan is expected to accomplish goals to provide clear vision and direction for the future, identify and analyze issues and needs, analyze viable development/redevelopment tools and options, delineate focus areas for redevelopment and revitalization activities, outline practical implementation strategies, demonstrate the marketability of the plan recommendations and determine the fiscal impacts of the plan recommendations. The consultant will be expected to conduct the necessary work to produce the Core City Plan and facilitate the citizen-involved process. Submit: name, addres & telephone number; contact person with firm; description of firm, organization and key personnel; statement of qualifications demonstrating experience/expertise; background on subconsultants that may be anticipated; availability of staff to undertake project; list of previously completed projects; references with names and contact information.
