Fifth Annual ULI LA Urban Marketplace--Matching Capital Opportunities and Know-How
Urban Land Institute--Los Angeles District Council
The ULI Los Angeles Urban Marketplace 2005 is coming to the LA Convention Center on March 16. Attendees, who will include expert practitioners, public leaders, and community entrepreneurs, will explore opportunities and development strategies for the region's urban neighborhoods, including those eligible for New Markets Tax Credit financing. An expert panel will kick off with "The Anatomy of the Successful Urban Deal," examining the elements of mixed-use developments that work in LA's urban neighborhoods. During the past four years, Urban Marketplace has attracted over 2,000 developers, investors, lenders, brokers, planners, reinvestment advocates, architects, educators, elected officials, attorneys, accountants, and community leaders to its case studies, roundtable discussions, and exhibits. Event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the LA Convention Center, Concourse Hall. Cost is $25 in advance, $35 on-site, including continental breakfast, a ULI publication, and program materials. Excellent sponsorship opportunities may still be available. Visit www.uli-la.org for more information. Registration is available immediately.
