RFP For Preparation of Baytown 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update

The City of Baytown, Texas, is accepting sealed proposals from planning firms interested in providing professional services needed to prepare the City's Comprehensive Plan Update and Unified Land Development Code. The Baytown 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update will be an update to the previous comprehensive plan prepared in 2000. The planning area includes all areas within the City's corporate limits and the City's extra-territorial jurisdiction. The Plan is envisioned to be a collectively developed, proactive guide for the growth, economic development, and land use for the City of Baytown through Year 2025. It is intended that the Plan will promote the orderly growth, development, and redevelopment of the community, consistent with the values, goals, and objectives of its citizenry. The selected planning consultant firm will be responsible for providing complete technical and project management services for the duration of the project. Special attention will be directed toward the policy recommendations of the Plan, and particularly toward the implementation and utilization of the Baytown 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update, including revisions to the City's Code of Ordinances and the creation of a Unified Land Development Code.
