Urban Waterfronts 22: Gathering By The Waters
The Waterfront Center
The conference program for URBAN WATERFRONTS 22 is organized in four tracks covering Economic Development Techniques, Design Considerations and Policy Issues plus roundtable discussions on select topics. The meeting will attract over 300 waterfront practitioners, internationally, who are interested in a look at current urban waterfront planning, development and culture as projects unfold in communities everywhere. A conference highlight is the announcement on Friday afternoon, October 15, of the 2004 "Excellence on the Waterfront" awards for built projects, comprehensive plans and grassroots citizen's efforts, selected by an interdisciplinary jury. Sponsored by The Waterfront Center, Washington, DC. Details and registration form available by brochure or on the website: www.waterfrontcenter.org.
