Resolving Public Policy Conflicts -- Sept 22-24, 2004
CDR Associates
Are you involved in complex public policy and environmental controversies? This seminar supports leaders from many backgrounds, including government officials at all levels (federal, state, and local), corporate managers, environmental advocates, tribal representatives, citizen activists, and technical experts. This course will benefit both mediators and non-mediators (individuals who represent an agency, corporation, or organization in negotiations, and may not actually assume the role of a neutral facilitator or mediator).
This seminar provides concepts, skills and strategies for resolving complex public policy and environmental disputes. Participants from all perspectives will learn how to negotiate effectively for their vital interests, how to select an appropriate decision-making model, and when and how to use third-party professionals in the process.
