RFP: Saltillo District Redevelopment Master Plan
Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority
Capital Metro and the City of Austin (COA) Partnership (hereafter referred to as 'The Partnership', see Attachment G) are soliciting qualifications from professional consultant teams to prepare a Redevelopment Master Plan for the properties in and around the 'Saltillo District', focusing on the Capital Metro-owned parcels.
The Saltillo District is located in the City of Austin, Travis County, Texas. The 'Focus Area' of the Project, consisting of approximately eleven (11) acres of land owned by Capital Metro, is bounded by Interstate 35 on the west, East 5th Street on the north, East 4th Street on the south and Comal Street on the east. (See Attachment A: Map of the SDRMP Focus Area and Attachment B: Property Ownership and Context Map of the Saltillo District and Surrounding Area.)
The Authority for the benefit and on behalf of the City of Austin is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide master planning and economic development services for the Saltillo District in Austin, Texas, as described in Exhibit F, Scope of Services, in this solicitation.
