TDEC ANNOUNCES AVAILABILITY OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Tims Ford Conservation Development at Fanning Bend (Franklin County, TN)

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) will be issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for the sale of approximately 204 acres of land on Tims Ford Reservoir. The parcel is known as Fanning Bend, which is located in Franklin County, just northwest of Winchester, Tennessee. The property is currently owned by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and allocated for residential development under the Tims Ford Reservoir Land Management and Disposition Plan. The purpose for the RFP is to sell the land for conservation development resulting in a residential development that also preserves green space and protects the area's environment. If you are interested in receiving a copy of the RFP, which will be available by September 30, 2002, please contact Paul Evan Davis at TDEC-OSP, 8th Floor L&C Annex, 401 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37243, (615) 532-0107, or [email protected].
