Wallace Roberts & Todd (WRT), a national planning and design firm headquartered in Philadelphia announces that San Francisco-based Solomon E.T.C. Architecture and Urban Design has joined the firm to practice as Solomon E.T.C., A WRT Company. The merger of these two award-winning firms combines Solomon's strength in urbanism with WRT's longstanding commitment to inner city revitalization and land stewardship.

Daniel Solomon, FAIA, a co-founder of Congress for the New Urbanism and professor emeritus at UC Berkeley, is WRT's newest principal. His firm, Solomon E.T.C., is widely recognized for urban housing projects - such as Vermont Village Plaza in South Central Los Angeles - that go beyond the provision of affordable shelter to inject new vitality into neighborhoods.
