REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

(RFP PL 02-03)

SOUTH VIRGINIA STREET BUS RAPID TRANSIT FEASIBILITY STUDY

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is requesting the services of a consultant to conduct a feasibility study concerning the implementation of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) or other bus service enhancement along the South Virginia Street Corridor in Reno, Nevada.

A copy of RFP PL 02-03 may be obtained from RTC, P.O. Box 30002, Reno, Nevada 89520-3002, on Monday, May 13, 2002. For further information, call Tina H. T. Wu, Project Manager at (775) 348-0480. A non-mandatory, pre-proposal conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2002, in the Jerry L. Hall Regional Transportation Center Board Room at 2050 Villanova Drive, Reno, Nevada.

To be eligible for consideration, an original and nine (9) copies of the proposal must be received by RTC no later than 2:00 p.m. (PDT) Friday, June 14, 2002, and should be addressed to: Tina H. T. Wu, Project Manager, Regional Transportation Commission, 600 Sutro Street, Reno, Nevada 89512.
