Power to the People: Placemaking Gets ASLA Approval
Project for Public Spaces
Not only has PPS' training course, "How to Turn a Place Around." been accredited for Continuing Professional Development by the ASLA, but it is also featured in Land Online, the ASLA's digital newsletter.
In her article, author Susan Hines noted the course's "fascinating
subject matter, witty teachers, interesting guest speakers, field trips,
and cool people to hang with ... (they) have distilled some basic truths
about creating successful places". Part One of her article is in this issue of Land Onlines, with Part Two to follow.
