Adrian P. Freund, AICP, has joined Mindel, Scott and Associates, Inc. as Director of Planning. Mr. Freund's emphasis will be upon expanding the firm's public sector planning and urban design practice. During his 30-year career as a planning professional, Mr. Freund served as planner, planning manager, planning director and state environmental official in cities, counties, regions and states in the Midwest, Northeast and Southwest. Mr. Freund managed numerous comprehensive, strategic and environmental plans during his public sector career and has also managed plans and studies for several municipalities since entering the private sector. Mr. Freund has been active in the American Planning Association for 20 years as a Chapter President and two-term national Director. He now serves as Chair of the APA Divisions Council.
