The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, the regional planning agency for the Dayton, Ohio, area, has given its executive director, Michael Robinette, a poor evaluation after Robinette's first year on the job. In the evaluation, commissioners cited poor communication with the board, decision-making, and ethical conduct. "I think it was a wake-up call for him [Robinette]," said former Vandalia councilman Jack Shirley, a member of the evaluating committee.
