Cristina Van Valkenburgh will lead the planning services team for the Chicago suburb of Naperville.

"Van Valkenburgh currently is principal planner for the DuPage County Department of Economic Development and Planning... She previously worked as land use director for the city of Bellevue, Wash., and in Seattle for the city's land-use department... Van Valkenburgh replaces Wendy Yaksich, who left the city to work for Moser Enterprises. Van Valkenburgh starts work Feb. 2 and will receive a $90,000 annual salary."
