Position Description:

City Ventures is currently seeking a full-time Land Acquisition Associate to assist the Vice President of Land Acquisition in all aspects of acquiring land and real property, including but not limited to, opportunity identification, qualification, land use research, conceptual land planning, proforma underwriting, transaction/deal structuring, and due diligence analysis. A Land Acquisition Associate is expected to initiate and maintain relationships with commercial and residential real estate brokers, property owners, and city development staff and to monitor publicly-owned assets and Requests for Proposals, city general plan/zoning amendments, and city housing elements in order to procure and evaluate acquisition leads. The position is based in our Irvine office; however, time will be spent driving cities throughout Southern California to identify new land opportunities and to meet with city staff, land owners, and real estate brokers.
