Salary: $57,287 - $91,660
The Planner I or II works collaboratively to support the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency’s (TPA) Multimodal Team. The position’s primary responsibilities include supporting the development and implementation of the TPA’s pedestrian, bicycle, and transit plans, programs, and projects. The primary topics the position engages with are Vision Zero, Complete Streets, pedestrian, bicycle, and transit planning activities. The position also supports the development and implementation of the Commission for Transportation Disadvantaged (CTD) planning grant activities.

Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in urban/regional planning or a related field is required.
- A Master’s degree in urban/regional planning or a related field is preferred.
- GIS experience analyzing transportation data and producing maps.
- Experience working with a Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is preferred.
- American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification is preferred.
Knowledge
- Federal and State transportation funding programs and regulations.
- Familiarity with Complete Streets, Vision Zero, and Design Standards.
- Local government comprehensive planning requirements relating to transportation.
Skills
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in readily understandable plans and reports.
- Be skillful in using computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, and other databases.
