Garfield County, located in western Colorado, is seeking someone to assist the community in achieving its current and future objectives through developing relevant projects, policies, processes and plans.  Perform a number of roles including, but not limited to, technical analyst, researcher, reviewer, program developer, educator or facilitator. 

Minimum Experience: Planner I: 1year of experience in land use planning.  Planner II: 3 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in planning or 2 years of experience with a master’s degree Planner III: 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in planning or  3 years of experience with a master’s degree.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in land use planning or closely related field; or any undergraduate degree with a master’s degree in Regional Planning or related field such as architecture, landscape architecture, geography, or civil engineering.
