Senior Urban Planner

We are seeking a talented Mid to Senior level Planner to help lead projects in our Columbus, OH office. MKSK has a fast-paced work environment with many simultaneous projects. Key traits for success in this position are an outgoing personality, enjoyment of working with small teams of professionals, strong writing skills, and an ability to work on many assignments at once. Strong writing skills are a particular point of emphasis for this position.
Project Delivery: Ground all design decisions in the needs of the community and the purpose of this practice.

•Demonstrated ability to manage projects and staff.
•Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality documents.
•Strong writing skills.
•Ability to collaborate in a team environment and effectively meet deadlines.
•Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
•Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel.
•Mapping proficiency in AutoCAD and ESRI ArcGIS software.
•Experience with Adobe products including InDesign and Illustrator Google Sketch-Up, and similar software is preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements
•Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree city & regional planning, urban planning or urban design.
•Minimum 7-10 years experience.
