Next-Generation Cities and Transportation (online course for planners and engineers)
This 12-week online course provides a foundation in the principles and practices of next-generation transportation. Our current transportation system will undergo significant change, responding to climate, energy, technology, and cultural and economic shifts. Next-generation transportation anticipates these changes and advances multi-modal solutions that balance mobility and accessibility for people and goods. It plays an integral role in advancing liveable and sustainable cities of the future.
Our instructors— experienced, fresh-thinking sustainability leaders, policy-makers, planners, engineers, and decision-makers from North America and beyond — will provide context for past practice, improve on the conventional, discuss the radical and explore the possibilities that will make up transportation for the next generation.
