CRA/LA and Urban Insight Receive Economic Development Technology Award

May 1, 2011 - Urban Insight and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles have been recognized by the California Association for Local Economic Development for innovation in technology used to create a web-based information repository and GIS system for the Los Angeles Harbor Industrial Center Redevelopment Project.
The new website, Wilmington Industrial Park, provides a repository of all redevelopment documents, map layers, and geographic information analysis tools to help businesses and investors identify opportunities for redevelopment.
For more than half a century, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles (CRA/LA) has been Los Angeles' public partner in housing, commercial, neighborhood and economic development. CRA/LA is dedicated to revitalizing, refurbishing, and renewing economically underserved areas of Los Angeles.
