July 29, 2010 (Hollywood, CA): The International Downtown Association has recognized Urban Insight with an Award of Excellence for Technology Innovation in recognition of Navigate Hollywood, an innovative way-finding web application to help visitors navigate through Hollywood, CA.

Navigate Hollywood is the one-stop source of information related to parking access, street closures, public transportation, construction, traffic impacts, and traffic conditions in Hollywood. The application was developed by Urban Insight in partnership with the Hollywood Property Owner's Alliance.

The Hollywood Property Owners Alliance is a 501(c)6 nonprofit corporation that manages the Hollywood Entertainment District property business improvement district (BID). The HPOA is governed by 17 property owners and/or representatives representing the diverse array of property types in the District: commercial, residential, hotel, parking lot, nonprofit and government-owned.

The International Downtown Association is the essential membership organization for professional place management leaders worldwide. IDA empowers place management leaders with knowledge, research and public policies for creating prosperous city centers, commercial neighborhoods and livable urban places for all.
