Rowan University is thrilled to welcome Dr. Petra Doan from the Department of Urban & Regional Planning at Florida State University (FSU) to deliver a presentation on planning for non-normative populations. Dr. Doan is a professor and the Ph.D program director at FSU. She has published widely on the topics of LGBTQ and non-normative populations in planning. She has also studied patterns of peri-urban development in rapidly growing cities as well as examined the effects of tourism on local planning capacities.

Dr. Doan's virtual visit to Rowan University is the first of four presentations highlighting each of the Department of Geography, Planning, & Sustainability's degree programs in honor of its 50th anniversary!

The lecture will be offered at 4:00 p.m. EST via Zoom or through an exclusive viewing in Discovery Hall (rooms 201 and 227) with a special reception to follow in the 2nd floor atrium.
