Top Five Most Diverse Cities

The U.S. Census lists the top five most diverse cities as well as five most segregated cities in the U.S.
The 2000 Census indicates that, although many urban areas remain segregated, some neighborhoods have become less racially isolated."The Census Bureau found that faster-growing cities, primarily those in the West and South, were more diverse. The five most integrated urban areas were Orange County, California; San Jose, California; Norfolk, Virginia; Tampa, Florida; and San Diego, the bureau said."
