America’s Top Arrested Developments, In Honor of Sunday's Season 4 Premiere

After a seven-year hiatus, Netflix is bringing back the critically acclaimed television series Arrested Development, and with it memories of the Great Recession.

When the acclaimed series, turned Netflix staple, Arrested Development refreshes on screens across the world for a long-anticipated fourth season, it will renew the settings and stylings of a distinctly American form of familial dysfunction. The half-built Bluth family home sitting alone and desolate on a subdivision plot carved into an arid hillside is a reminder of the depths of suburban blight following the 2008 collapse of the American real estate and financial markets.
