The Music of Planning

A website called "Isle of Tune" lets you build streets SimCity-style, with a twist- the houses and streetlights become musical elements in the sequence that you make.

As your car drives around the city (well, suburban) streets, the rhythm is created by the objects you put along the side of the road. You layer tracks by setting up other cars on other looping streets.

As TechCrunch notes, it's not exactly "city planning", but it is a fun distraction.
