Riverfront Park To Put New Face On Cincinnati
13 May 2005 - 12:00pm
A $78M project along the Ohio River will unify the riverfront between two stadiums.
The park, where downtown meets the Ohio riverbank, "would include water gardens, viewing terraces, promenades, playgrounds, flower gardens and a meadow.Stepped terraces would link the river to downtown, while a bike trail would link it to other parks along a trail that would stretch to Lunken Airport and across the Purple People Bridge to Newport. Boat docks would allow people to ferry to Kentucky."
