South Carolina U. Creates an enviromentally designed complex for 500 students for the same cost as conventional construction.

A new home for 500 students, classrooms and conference space is open on the Columbia campus of USC. From construction material, to landscaping, to daily needs, USC's new development turns the notion that "it's not easy being green" on its head.
