New Political Party Based On Sustainable Urbanism

'Projet Montréal', is a new municipal political party founded in November, 2004, and based on sustainability.
"Projet Montreal" has a party platform based on sustainable development.
"Sustainability in housing, sustainability in transport, sustainability everywhere, especially the economy," said Richard Bergeron, an urban planner and the party's new leader.
Projet Montreal, which has official party status and a current membership base of 200 people, hopes to reach out to young people in time for the next municipal election."
