Arizona's Virtual Water University
1 November 2004 - 5:00am
Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano plans to create a 'virtual water university' to be world's leader in water research in arid areas.
"The goal, the governor said, is that by 2006, Arizona can claim a unique ability to explore water and drought issues, propose solutions and see the results used here and around the globe... 'It will allow us to have the best resource in the world, to think outside the box where water is concerned,' Napolitano said... 'We can become a world example of how you sustain a dynamic economy in an area of aridity and an era of drought.' "

Maybe we should blame Thomas Jefferson. He was the godfather of the urban sprawl racket in America.
