Lower Manhattan Residents Let Down By WTC Reconstruction

Regional Plan Association report says World Trade Centre plans ignore Lower Manhattan resident's wishes.

A report released recently by the RPA - based on feedback from the Civic Alliance, members of the public and their own research - claims that the reconstruction of lower Manhattan has totally ignored residents desires for a diverse, mixed use urban solution. Instead, RPA says, New York has been offered an office monoculture, despite the novelty architecture designed by celebrity architects.
