"If Las Vegas can re-create big chunks of Paris, Venice and ancient Egypt as casinos, why can't Chicago re-create the White City?"
While touring the site of the 1893 world's fair in Chicago, and discussing the legacy of Daniel Burnham's historic complex a writer and a historian contemplate an interesting idea--bring back the glory of the White City as a grand entertainment complex.
