America's Top 'Brain-Gain' Cities

Pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods, vibrant streets, and a healthy community life are the hallmarks of cities that are attracting young educated talent.
The newest trend among educated people, entrepreneurs and the like is to move to certain cities and bring their talent -- and thus jobs and revenue -- to those cities. "In a Darwinian fight for survival, American cities are scheming to steal each other's young. They want ambitious young people with graduate degrees in such fields as genome science, bio-informatics and entrepreneurial management."
