New Growth Policies For California?

New state growth policies could accompany a new governor for California.
Land use policy is barely on the radar screen of California's wild race forgovernor. Yet a new governor -- Democrat or Republican -- could introduce a new set of growth policies that have far-reaching effects, California Planning & Development Report Publisher William Fulton writes. "It's perhaps premature to ask what changes smut peddler Larry Flynt would make to the General Plan Guidelines, or where buxom billboard celebrity Angelyne stands on the latest wrinkles in the California Environmental Quality Act."
