Methane at LA's Playa Vista: Real Problems or Just Gas?

Environmental opponents to controversial project cite minor methane problems, potential earthquake
LA City Council Budget and Finance Committee Chairman Mike Feuer said that he would prefer not to issue building permits for Playa Vista until issues related to Methane gas raised in a City report are resolved. Questions were also raised about $135 million in Mello-Roos bond funding. When complete, the project will be the the city's largest commercial and housing complex.
