Mobile Edition

Keep up with the latest planning news while you are on the move. PLANetizen News is available for your handheld device (Palm, Windows Mobile, etc.) or web enabled cellular phone. It's easy...and free!

Phones
Open your phone's web browser, and point it to http://www.planetizen.com/mobile/. It has been optimized to load as quickly as possible. Please note that your phone company may charge you for the time or amount of data you download.

Handhelds
If you already have the free AvantGo software installed, you can subscribe right away. If you do not have the free software, you can get it from AvantGo -- it should take only a few minutes.

With the AvantGo software you will be able to download Planetizen News to your handheld device so you can read it when you are not connected to the Internet. Planetizen is an official AvantGo Channel.

You can also use the free Plucker application. This open source program available for Unix, GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Mac OS X. Download the appropriate Plucker Desktop for your operating system.

The mobile edition is available at http://www.planetizen.com/mobile/. (In Plucker, maximum depth should be set to 2 levels.)

Open Plucker, and Add a Channel.

Configure the channel as shown below:

You're done! Simply syncronize your handheld for the latest stories.
