The City of Woodlake is seeking a candidate for a Planner I/Code Enforcement Officer Position.  Candidate experience will determine classification and pay scale.

Planner I: Under general supervision, prepares technical planning reports, assist staff in preparation of reports and studies, prepares, updates and maintains planning maps, graphics and documents, and is the support staff to community development services. Performs code enforcement duties related to ordinance requirements, prepares legal notices and project tracking. Performs related responsibilities as required. ($3,939-$4,788 monthly plus excellent benefits).

Code Enforcement Officer: Performs responsible investigations and on-site (field) inspections; to review plans for code, zoning and ordinance compliance; to perform duties in areas relating to zoning violations, vehicle abatement, and special use permits; and to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local codes and ordinances. Performs related responsibilities as required. ($3,544-$4,308 monthly plus excellent benefits).

The Code Enforcement position requires education equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade and a valid Driver’s License.  The Planner I position will also require the possession of a Bachelor’s Degree.
