Assistant Environmental Planner
Campus Planning provides leadership on the strategic development of the campus. Within its portfolio, the environmental planning group provides services related to the environmental review process.
In consultation with the Director of Environmental Planning, the assistant environmental planner will participate in the environmental review process for campus projects through writing environmental review documents, reviewing consultant-led environmental reviews, completing notifications and regulatory requirements for the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and maintaining campus environmental planning documentation materials. Along with providing technical expertise related to environmental impacts, this position will be a key collaborator with campus colleagues, members of the public and consultants to resolve inquiries related to outreach for environmental planning efforts.
The successful applicant will be joining a UC Davis team that is a widely acknowledged leader in sustainable and environmentally friendly development.
