Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Urban Planning
The Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University (NYU Wagner) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position with an expertise in urban planning and/or urban policy. The tentative start date for this position is fall 2019. The rank of the position is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will teach graduate-level courses in our Master of Urban Planning program and other related masters programs. As the successful candidate will join the full-time faculty at NYU Wagner, applicants should have a strong interest in interacting with faculty and students in a multidisciplinary professional school of public service. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will provide leadership to and participate in curricular and co-curricular activities that contribution to the academic mission of NYU Wagner and support our students’ professional development.
Applicants must hold an earned graduate or professional degree and have at least 8 years of professional experience in urban planning and/or urban policy. Teaching experience in a university setting is preferred, although not necessary.
