The Planner / Analyst will produce analysis on a variety of transportation topics, make committee presentations, and develop policy recommendations. Immediate initiatives include conducting research and helping lead a CMAP task force to implement ON TO 2050 recommendations on emerging mobility technology, utilizing technical skills and applying policy insight. Longer-term assignments will include analysis to implement other aspects of CMAP’s policy and programming agenda, as highlighted in ON TO 2050. Work in this area will connect CMAP’s policies and research on transportation, development, environment, regional economy, and other topics.

The Planner / Analyst will also contribute analysis for local plans as well as investment decisions in transit, highway, and non-motorized transportation facilities. The incumbent will help forge consensus around transportation priorities by working collaboratively with metropolitan planning organization (MPO) member agencies and other CMAP stakeholders.
