Associate Land Use Planner/Project Manager
Van Ness Feldman (VNF) — a law and policy firm representing clients in energy, environment, land use, real estate, and government relations matters — seeks an Associate Land Use Planner/Project Manager for its Seattle office.
Qualified applicants will have 4-6 years planning experience; familiarity with local, state, and federal permits and approvals (platting, conditional use permits, variances, wetland & shoreline approvals, HPAs, 401 cert) and environmental compliance (SEPA, NEPA); demonstrated project management experience; ability to collect and organize input from various disciplines and obtain governmental approvals for multi-faceted developments; strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work with teams and facilitate meetings, to justify policy decisions, and to produce excellent written reports/documents; and the desire to work with a collaborative team of attorneys, planners, policy professionals, and consultants. City of Seattle experience strongly preferred.
