SENIOR PLANNER –
The City is looking for a senior planner with experience in higher level planning concepts including comprehensive and transportation planning; preparation of reports; research and analysis of various planning issues; customer service; project management, and management of consultants.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Include graduation an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in planning, geography, public admin or other related field with 7-10 years of experience in Public and/or Private Planning sector or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Well-developed communication, people, and presentation skills necessary. Strong project management skills and proficiency in MS Office also necessary. Master’s Degree, transportation modeling, GIS and Adobe Creative Suite experience, and AICP certification preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid state of Florida driver’s license. Position can be under filled as Planner II for het right candidate that does not meet all the above qualifications.
