The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform complex and specialized permit systems coordination work and serve as department lead for utilization, maintenance and training of electronic permitting and electronic plan review systems, as well as providing technical support to internal and external customers. Incumbents serve as a lead worker and responsibilities include providing quality assurance for permit systems deliverables; troubleshooting issues; providing technical assistance regarding the Planning Department's permitting and electronic plan review systems for internal and external customers; coordination with technical personnel to identify issues and resolutions.
