Development Needs Controls Says Smart Growth Workshop
5 May 2003 - 2:00pm
The local chapter of the Federation of Ontario Naturalists held a session on Smart Growth recently in Ontario, Canada.
Smart Growth is a moniker for 'good planning', which is something we have been doing for years now. This was sentiment echoed by the speakers at a workshop held recently in Barrie, ON (north of Toronto). Speakers included a local land use planning consultant (and FON director), the County of Simcoe's Director of Planning, a land trust representative and Linda Pim from FON.
