Dangerous Detroit

Detroit is not safe for pedestrians.
"Anyone who spends much time walking in Detroit -- and, yes, some people do -- knows the city is not pedestrian friendly.Wide boulevards, ill-timed lights, poorly maintained sidewalks, sprawling development, and nonworking crossing signals can make walking in the Motor City unpleasant. This week's study by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration concludes it can be dangerous as well. "
